What We Do Climate Action Scotland's Climate Change Plan: Tell Us What You Think The Scottish Government has published its draft Climate Change Plan for the period 2026-2040. The Plan sets out how Scotland will reduce greenhouse gas emissions between now and 2040, while making sure the transition to net zero is fair, practical and supportive. It recognises that change needs to happen across society, in how we heat our homes, travel, use land, produce energy, run businesses and support communities and that people need clear, accessible information to take part in that journey. Up until 29th January, you can feed in your views and let the Scottish Government know what you think about what is included, and what you think is missing and should be included in the final version. RSGS has prepared a resource pack to help you navigate the draft. This includes facilitation plans for a 2 hour workshop and a series of videos, slidepacks and explainers covering each of the sectors in the Plan. You can register here for access to the resource pack. Please provide your feedback direct to the Scottish Government via Citizen Space or email the findings of your workshop to [email protected] by close on 28th January. If you don't want to hold your own workshop, why not join one of ours? We are hosting three online workshops on 20th, 22nd and 24th January. Register here to attend and join in the discussion.
